The Hoi An Memories Show in 5 Acts
1. The Life
The dawn of Hoi An: cutting wood to build houses, planting rice, fishing and trading, with a touching portrait of the women and mothers who held families together.
2. The Wedding
The marriage of Princess Huyen Tran to the Champa King Jaya Sinhavarman III (Che Man), a romance that was also an important political alliance, staged with magnificent costumes.
3. The Ships and the Sea
Hoi An’s golden age as a busy port in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the women who waited for their husbands and lovers, symbolised by the iconic image of women carrying lanterns through the storm.
4. The Shore
Ships from China, Japan and the West arrive, and Hoi An becomes a melting pot of cultures and a prosperous trading hub of Southeast Asia.
5. The Ao Dai
Past meets present: women in ao dai ride bicycles across the stage, houses rise and the sounds of the four seasons fill the air, a celebration of a town that keeps its culture alive.

- Be at your seat at least 15 minutes before the show; late entry is not allowed once it begins.
